Gruppen från Charleston, South Carolina består av Johnny Delaware (som lirat i Susto), Clay Houle, Eric Mixon och Eric Klin och det är precis som på den uppseendeväckande starka debutplattan från 2018 duon Delaware och Houle som står för låtskrivandet. Musikaliskt härbärgerar bandet i americana, med tydlig inspiration av Byrds, Jackson Browne och Tom Petty. Artisanals skapar inte några nya stigar i rock´n rolls outsinliga rotverk, men herregud så fint man vårdar arvet av nämnda storheter. För mig är höjdpunkten på ”Zia” den makalösa ”Driftwood”, en nervig rockexplosion som varar i sju minuter. ” She’s Looking For An Answer”, som fint avslutar plattan visar att låtskrivarduon Delaware/Houle behärskar det mer lugna uttryckssättet och berör med sina texter.
